PEER Services delivers classroom-based curricula that provide alcohol and drug information paired with social and emotional skill development (assertiveness, self-esteem, decision-making, etc).

In Evanston, we currently partner with Evanston/Skokie School District 65 to implement SAMHSA-approved, evidence-based curricula.  The two programs currently in place in Evanston are Too Good for Drugs (for fifth and sixth graders) and Project ALERT (for seventh and eighth graders).

While we encourage all schools to first consider an evidence-based curriculum, we understand that for some, the time commitment can be a challenge.  PEER Services responds to requests to deliver customized classroom-based programming for students in grades 5–12.
