Intensive Outpatient Treatment
If your assessment shows that you can benefit from additional support as you address your substance use, PEER Services provides intensive outpatient services to help you. Our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) provide a structured and focused treatment experience that connects you with others who are working on recovery.
PEER’s IOP consists of 3-hour group sessions 3 days each week. The amount of time it takes to complete this program will vary depending on your strengths, needs, and level of participation, but our IOP typically takes about 8 weeks to complete. Our IOP groups are led by Master’s level clinicians who create a warm and supportive treatment environment.
Following completion of the IOP, you will join a 90-minute aftercare group that meets once weekly to provide you with ongoing support in your recovery. Most participants join aftercare for at least 6 weeks following the completion of the IOP.
