The Joy of Recovery
We are proud to announce The Joy of Recovery a group exhibit of art by six PEER clients at the Glenview Public Library in celebration of National Recovery Month.
The exhibit highlights the positive aspects of recovery—however each artist defines it. Each work offers a counternarrative to the “war stories” frequently told about substance use. By focusing on hope, The Joy of Recovery invites conversations about substance use, mental health, stigma; as well as an opportunity to visualize success.
The exhibit runs through September 30 at the Glenview Public Library 1930 Glenview Rd., Glenview, IL 60025. We hope you will visit this inspiring exhibit!
